This is a Japanese Special Edition DVD, released in 4th July 2007, for the film “Tales from Earthsea” (ゲド戦記).

“Tales from Earthsea” , based on the book series by Ursula K. Le Guin, is the debut feature of Hayao Miyazaki’s son, Goro Miyazaki.

The movie is loosely based on a combination of plots and characters from the first, third, and fourth books of the Earthsea series: “A Wizard of Earthsea”, “The Farthest Shore”, and “Tehanu”, all written by Ursula K. Le Guin, along with “The Journey of Shuna” by Hayao Miyazaki.
